SHOE FREE
With our growing numbers of infants and toddlers in our classrooms, we
are asking that parents take off your shoes and bring your child into
the classroom when they arrive and again at the end of the day for pick up.
This is only for Nursery and 1 yr. old right now.
In March, we will be getting new carpet in our other 2 toddler rooms
and those rooms will be shoe free as well.

Band Aids For Buddies
WE ARE COLLECTING BAND-AIDS FOR
CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF PITTSBURGH.
PLEASE IF YOU CAN DONATE JUST ONE BOX
OF CHARACTER BAND-AIDS, THEY WOULD BE
SO APPRECIATED. ALL OF THE CHARACTER
BAND-AIDS THAT ARE GIVEN FROM CHILDREN'S

NOTES WILL BE SENT HOME WITH THE
NUMBER OF CHILDREN TO SEND

ILLNESS UPDATE!!!!!
Please remember that during the Winter and Spring months
illness spreads quickly in younger children.
Please remember our illness policy.
Thank you for you concern and your respect.
ILLNESS
If a child has a fever of 101.0 or higher, we call the parent to come pick up the child. If a child leaves the daycare due to a fever, they are not permitted back to the daycare for 24 hours and must be fever free without any assistance from medications.
If a child leaves the daycare with 2 diarrheas, the child is permitted back the next day. If he/she has 1 diarrhea while in our care, then a parent will be called to come pick up the child.
If a child leaves the daycare vomiting, the child is permitted back the next day if he/she is feeling better. If the child continues to vomit while in our care, a parent will be called to come pick up the child.
